HGV Driver – Hevey Northampton

We are currently recruiting an HGV Driver to join the team at our branch in Moulton Park, Northampton. You will be an integral part of a thriving, busy team, delivering building materials to our customers, loading and unloading safely and maintaining a high level of customer care and service.

Applicants should possess a current Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C & E) licence. Ideally you will also hold a valid HIAB Crane Licence.

The daily duties of the job will be delivering building materials. You will occasionally be expected to assist in the yard and load your own vehicle – a forklift license would be an advantage.

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12.30pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements

• Valid HGV licence and clean driving record
• HIAB Crane license and experience
• Experience of working in a Builder’s Merchant
• Forklift license is an advantage
• A good understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends
• Positive, can do attitude
• Eligible to work in the UK

Sales Executive – Hevey Northampton

Responsibilities:

• Handling enquiries via phone, email, and over the counter
• Preparing accurate quotes and processing customer orders
• Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
• Identifying new business opportunities and growing your customer base
• Working closely with the branch team to hit sales targets and deliver great service
