HGV Driver – Hevey Sudbury

Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Driver looking to join a supportive team in a well-established builders' merchant? We’re looking for a customer-focused, safety-conscious HGV Driver to join the team at our branch in Sudbury.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering building materials to our customers safely, efficiently, and with great service — every time.

Responsibilities:

  • Transporting and delivering goods to customer sites across the region
  • Loading, unloading, and ensuring correct stock movement and delivery
  • Using a crane (HIAB) safely and in accordance with regulations (training can be provided)
  • Completing daily vehicle and defect checks, maintaining clean and safe vehicles
  • Liaising with customers to provide excellent service on every drop
  • Following company procedures for delivery, paperwork, and stock returns
  • Supporting the wider branch and logistics team where needed

Hours: 7.30am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements

  • A valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC
  • A valid HIAB licence (brick grab) is preferred — or willingness to train
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence navigating local delivery routes safely and efficiently
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • High standards of safety, timekeeping, and personal presentation
  • Eligible to work in the UK

We’re looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join the finance team supporting Carboclass, a subsidiary of Lords Group Trading.

This is a key role partnering with the Financial Controller and the wider management team to provide clear, accurate financial reporting and analytical insight that supports commercial decision-making and sustainable growth.

You’ll play a vital part in month-end close, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management — helping to keep our business performance visible, efficient, and well-controlled.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and variance analysis
  • Support the financial close process, ensuring ledgers are accurate and reconciled on time
  • Produce daily cashflow forecasts and manage cashflow planning activities
  • Deliver reporting and insights to drive commercial performance
  • Support budget and forecast preparation within the group planning cycle
  • Develop and report key business and operational KPIs
  • Provide clear, data-driven insight to guide management decisions
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong experience in management accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; confident with data and financial modelling

Accounts Payable Assistant - Hevey Northampton

Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to be part of a dynamic, supportive team? We’re looking for a highly conscientious Accounts PayableAssistant to join our finance department.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments across the business. You’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day transactional finance operations and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries promptly
  • Supporting payment runs and ensuring deadlines are met
