Yard Assistant - Hevey Northampton
We are looking for a full-time Yard Assistant to join the team our branch in Moulton Park, Northampton. The successful candidate will be part of a yard team picking loads, loading and unloading our vehicles and those of our customers and suppliers, offering a high standard of customer service. Duties include keeping the yard clean and tidy and maintaining stock presentation and rotation. You will also be expected to report any health and safety issues, and to check and defect plant and machinery daily.
Applicants should have a valid Counterbalance licence and ideally be experienced in using Counterbalance, Teletruck and Combi forklift trucks.
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12.30pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Forklift certification and the ability to operate a forklift is an advantage
- Eligible to work in the UK
Internal Sales Executive – Hevey Northampton
We are looking for a Sales Executive to join us at our Northampton branch. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team, working from our brand-new Sales Office. It is a fast-paced role responding to initial enquiries from both trade and retail customers via email, telephone and over the counter as well as providing quotes and taking orders. You will be proactive in promoting the company to existing and potential customers and confident in your ability to create sales and break into the local market.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and hungry for sales, with a commitment to outstanding customer service and two years’ minimum previous experience in the Builders Merchants industry.
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12.30pm alternate Saturdays
