 Lighthouse Club
December 2012
As many of you may be aware, Hevey are avid supporters of The Lighthouse Club, the Construction Industry Charity which offers amongst other things a Benevolent Fund to provide financial help for families when the breadwinner loses income through illness, injury or death.
 We think the Club does fantastic work and so wanted to feature them in our newsletter.

The Club organise some great events such as the upcoming Lunch on the 7th December at the Park Inn, Northampton where we're looking forward to seeing colleagues old and new!
You never know when you might need their help, it only costs £20 per year to join so we encourage all of our customers to support the Club by completing the membership form and either drop it in at one of our depots or send it to the address on the form.

What a thriller!
November 2012
We were delighted to sponsor the recent Cobblers game v Chesterfield FC on 22nd September. For the fans out there, you will recall it was a 0-0 thriller (Not!) but at least our guests had a lot of fun with a pre-match dinner, a stadium tour and a presentation on the pitch!

 John Shaw retires
November 2012
One of our longest serving staff members is finally hanging up his wood plane. John Shaw Manager at our Timber Depot in Northampton is retiring after seven years with Hevey. We’ll miss his experience, knowledge and banter but rest assured Jason Bradshaw, whom many of you will know, is taking over so the service you have come to expect will continue!
We wish John all the very best and hope he enjoys his retirement. To celebrate the team took him to Forest of Arden Golf Club for a well deserved round of golf and the normal Hevey hospitality

Product of the Month – Polystorm
September 2011 
We stock Polystorm as a solution for attenuation and soakaway applications. It’s a useful product featuring modular cells that can be built up to form a low bearing tank structure of any shape or size. It then receives rainwater collected from the gutter system or surface drains ready to release within a set discharge limit.
With a 40 tonne per square meter compressive strength, Polystorm is ideal for light trafficked and loaded applications. It is particularly suitable for housing developments, small car parks and light commercial developments.
