Hevey support local sports talent!

Hevey are delighted to announce the sponsorship of the NSB Talent Camp in July 2009. As part of the commitment to support local community initiatives within the areas it operates, Hevey sponsored the Talent Camp which aims to assist in the development of 8-12 year old gifted and talented sports performers. The Camp attracted both boys and girls who had demonstrated a high level of skill or technical ability in one or more sport.

The Camp was run at Northampton School for Boys in conjunction with Arsenal, Northampton Saints and the Northamptonshire Schools Cricket Association.

Neil Hemmington, Director said “supporting local initiatives is a central part of our commitment to the local community and putting something back into local sport”.

Mark Lee, Talent Camp Co-ordinator said “we are extremely grateful to Hevey Building Supplies for supporting this initiative. The Camp was attended by dozens of children and we were delighted with the success of the Talent Camp. Without Hevey’s support we could not have achieved so much.
